It’s very likely that as a Missouri resident, you’ve already been to the top of Gateway Arch, sampled St. Loius’ fabulous cuisine, and seen your fair share of live Blues. Right? Wrong. Just because you’ve seen some Blues bands, doesn’t mean you’ve seen them all. Of course theirs also plenty of jazz and other eclectic venues for a wide variety of different musical tastes. Riverboat casinos are also a fun departure from the norm and can provide an entire night of action-packed entertainment. After a night out, the recently landscaped Forest Lake’s Park is something new everyone can enjoy, as are the charming Missouri Botanical Gardens with their variety of ever-changing exhibits and events. Or if you just want to get away, don’t forget that your state has numerous other parks, rivers, and caves to explore. When is the last time you rafted down one of your state’s sparkling rivers, fished a nearby stream, played a round of golf, hiked the Ozark Trail, or cycled the 225-mile long path through Katy Trail State Park. And don’t forget, Missouri also has over 6,200 caves throughout the state. So rekindle that spirit of St. Louis and explore your state.

Capital Grille-A Classy Place

Capital GrilleCapital Grille is nothing but the best. The restaurant exudes class from every aspect. The rich club-like atmosphere has been described by The Miami Herald as a, “culinary theme park full of dark wood, stuffed game heads, cigars, high-end drinks, wines and dry aged steaks.”

To start, the food is exquisite. Dry aged steaks that have earned high praise from the nation’s toughest food critics and an award-winning wine list is only the beginning. Mouth-watering appetizers, fresh seafood, chop, and irresistible desserts also make this a fine culinary experience.

Then the food is matched with out-of-this-world service and a comfortable, relaxed ambiance that’s a world away from the routine. Hand-crafted mahogany, plush leather and distinctive art surround you, this is truly high class. No wonder The Capital Grille isn’t just the place to be seen. It’s the place to be seen having a fabulous time.

The state of Missouri is home to one of America’s favorite cities, St. Louis. Here vistors will find the Gateway Arch where you can ride more than 600 feet over the Mississippi River for a spectacular view of the city and its surroundings. In the city visitors will find one-of-a-kind dining experiences, the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, riverboat casinos, and ample nightlife, including, of course, plenty of live entertainment considering it is the birthplace of the Blues. After a night of excitement, a leisurely stroll through the newly landscaped Forest Lake’s Park or the charming Missouri Botanical Gardens is bound to help anyone relax and recooperate, as will a scenic drive along the historic Route 66. Or for those who just want to get away from it all, there’s more to Missouri than St. Louis alone. With numerous state parks, rivers, and caves throughout the state, visitors will find many chances for outdoor fun. Popular sports include canoeing, rafting, kayaking, or tubing in sparkling rivers, fishing in Missouri’s streams and lakes, golf, hiking the Ozark Trail, and cycling. In fact, cyclists will find particular delight in touring along the 225-mile long, hard-packed gravel path that winds through Katy Trail State Park. Horseback riders can also use portions of the path for equestrian pursuits. For those that can’t find enough to do above ground, Missouri also has over 6,200 unique and colorful caves throughout the state.
